From a resident served with your generosity by Golden Cross Senior Ministries…

Imagine living in a dilapidated home with no resources to repair and bring up to a reasonable standard of living. Imagine not having the finances to keep up with the kerosene heating demands. You are sleeping on a filthy broken down twin mattress. Now, picture yourself in this condition in your late 70’s.

That is what the ministry of Golden Cross does every day. With the generosity we are able to extend to those in need, shelter is turned into sanctuary. Because no senior should ever have to travel life’s journey alone!

Here is the response from the resident after finding his way to a Wesley Living community and being blessed by Golden Cross:

“They gave me a place to sleep, sit down, food to eat, and I really appreciate it.  The furniture is nicer than I have ever had.  My dad was a minister and he always helped others, and I know he was looking down from Heaven, and so pleased that someone helped me.”

Isaiah 58:10, “Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.”

Stan “The Man” Bronson

It is with deep regret that Stan’s passing is reported.
